Spot Colour Printing
Process screen printing is suited to multi colour designs where colour matching is not imperative. Process Printing is most effective on white garments as the colour model of CMYK was developed for printing on a white background. We can use this form of printing for coloured garments but usually need to print extra colours to reach the desired effect. This form of printing is also perfect for reproducing photos.
SunPrints have a number of manual and automatic screen printing carousels on site which can print up to 16 spot colours. Combine our print machinery with our highly skilled print team & art department we can assure you that the finished product will speak for itself.
Getting Artwork Created
When supplying your own art files we prefer to be supplied with vector artwork for Spot Colour Print designs and Photoshop designs for Process Printing. Vector artwork should be saved as an Adobe Illustrator file (.ai) with all text set to outlines. Photographic artwork should be supplied as an Adobe Photoshop file (.psd) with image resolution at 300DPI and the artwork should be to size.
At SunPrints we have a talented art department that are happy to help create your next design. Our Art Department can also help if you cannot obtain the correct files for printing (.ai or .psd) by re-drawing the design to make it compatible for screen printing. If you are having any troubles with art feel free to contact us and we will be able to help you out.
