Embroidery Decoration Guidelines
We can digitize most logos for embroidery so long as they are simple flat designs. We can also embroider gradients but advise that the outcome usually isn't what is originally expected. See below for a visual representation of a logo before being digitized and after.

It is our procedure to send you proofs of your final custom embroidery before putting your job into our production queue.
Accepted File Formats
We accept the following types of files for your custom embroidery. Please note that JPEGS are not a working file type but our in house embroidery artist can digitize these file types for you.
Tajima EMB Format
Tajima CAM (computer aided manufacturing) file used by embroidery machines and software; stores instructions for stitching an embroidery design with a sewing machine.
Wilcom EMB Format
Embroidery format used by Wilcom embroidery software; contains designs shapes, and stitching patterns used for creating embroideries; can be read by compatible sewing machines.
JPEG
JPEG is a common file type for digital images. These files can be digitized by our embroidery artist for a fee - contact us for an enquiry or quote.

Please Note: Colours Display differently on screen when compared to when viewed in person. To be 100% sure on the colour you are picking we recommend you pay us a visit in person to view threads in person.
Getting Artwork Created
SunPrints has a talented art department that are happy to help create your next design. Our Art Department can also help if you cannot obtain the correct files for embroidery (.dst or .emb) by re-drawing the design to make it compatible for Embroidery.
